Welcome! By visiting this website, you are telling us that you are considering an alternative or another option for your child’s education. We are thrilled that you have stopped by to learn more about our family of Delta Charter Schools.
Up until last school year, Delta was just a single school – Delta Charter School -- one that had been in operation since 2001. Last year, its first sister school opened with Delta Charter Online, a virtual option. Both K-12 college/career prep schools are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and have “a-g” status with the University of California/California State University systems.
This year, due to popular demand from our internal and external partners, we have expanded to six charter schools in the Delta Charter Schools family. Below is a quick summary of the new schools:
- Delta Home Charter School, long a component of Delta Charter School, will now have its own K-8 independent study school based in Tracy;
- Delta Bridges Charter School, a K-8 site-based program in north Stockton, will take the successes of the Dynamic Visual Learning (DVL) program that Delta Charter School has implemented the past three years;
- Delta Keys Charter School, a K-12 virtual school based in downtown Stockton, will support those students who wish to accelerate through high school and/or assist students who are behind;
- Delta Launch Charter School, based in downtown Stockton, is a virtual program designed to assist adults whom have yet to earn a high school diploma.
The aforementioned new schools, along with Delta Charter and Delta Charter Online, are authorized by the New Jerusalem Elementary School District Board of Trustees and all new schools will be accredited by January 2016 or June 2016, pending WASC Commission approval.
We hope you found what you are seeking and we welcome to starting a partnership with you.
Thank you for “stopping by” and please stay connected!
